JLPT Tango (“the App”) is a Japanese vocabulary study app for JLPT preparation. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data the App handles and how.
1.Data We Do Not Collect
The App does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. Specifically:

- No names, email addresses, or contact information is collected
- No location data is accessed
- No photos, camera, or microphone access is used

2.Data Stored on Your Device
The App stores the following data locally on your device only:
- Study progress — vocabulary words you have studied, quiz results, and spaced repetition scheduling data
- App preferences — your selected JLPT levels, language settings, and display preferences
3.Firebase Remote Config
The App uses Google Firebase Remote Config to retrieve configuration values from a server. This service may automatically collect:
- Device type and operating system version
- App version and build number
- General country/region (derived from IP address)
This data is processed by Google according to the Firebase Privacy Policy. No personally identifiable information is sent.
4.Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party service:
- Firebase Remote Config (Google LLC) — for retrieving app configuration data.

5.Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Since the App does not collect personal data from any user, it is safe for use by all ages.
